I needed to redeem myself after my latest mini-cupcake disaster, and so decided to go for a sort of springy-summery dessert in a mini orange dreamsicle cupcake. the base cupcake was a new recipe for vanilla cupcakes that I’m using for the first time, and I liked it a lot. The buttercream was orange based, and included orange juice, orange extract, and orange zest. I then topped the cupcakes off with cut up pieces of orange gummies.
They were good, and definitely a keeper for future baking needs.
This looks so sweet! Seems like a great item to go along during high tea too! =)
